Brief History of the Church:  This ministry was begun in 1994 by a group of Christians with a concern to help Hispanic ministries in the United States.  The board of directors began to make plans in March and invited David Byrne, who was serving as a missionary in Mexico City with EFM, to serve as director.  Since that time CHM has called American churches to serve the Lord in the Hispanic community and has worked to strengthen the leadership in the Hispanic churches by means of the leadership training intsitute called, “Instituto ALMA: ALcanzando al Mundo Alrededor.”
