June 2004 |
Greetings from CHM Director David Byrne!
You may or may not have noticed in
our letterhead we have some new board members as well as some changes in
responsibilities. New board members Jacob Estrada, Craig Davis and Bill Roeh
came onboard at the beginning of the year and we appreciate their involvement
and look forward to their contributions to Hispanic Ministry. We also deeply
appreciate the hard work of Dr. Harold Raley who had to leave the CHM board
due to mounting commitments. I praise God for His many servants who minister
in His name so well. |

Pomona Friends Church There are many ways that God plants
Hispanic churches in the United States. The Pomona Friends Church is
founded, funded, built & maintained by Hispanic Friends and the vitality
of their ministry is rich. |
New Leadership
Thomas Hoke is the new president of the CHM board and we are very glad to have his help. He continues with his responsibilities with Friends Disaster Service in the Texas area and also serves with the Alliance of Friends Gulf Coast (AFGC) in planting new churches. Tom has been a member of the CHM board since 1997 and feels like he can contribute even more as president, at least through this year. We appreciate his faithfulness to carry on the vision and high standards of past presidents Dr. Harold Raley and Dr. Jack Rea.
